Woolskin: Sheepskin & Wool Detergent and Conditioner: 500mL: W103B

Features:

Woolskin is the new Sheepskin & Wool Detergent and Conditioner, developed by the tanning industry in Australia. It is water based and completely bio-degradable.  Woolskin contains a unique blend of non-ionic surfactants; a dispersant to remove oil-based stains; a blend of conditioning agents that lubricate the sheepskin and give a distinct luster and handle to the wool fibre, Tea Tree Oil ( Malaleuca oil) which is effective against dust mites and pet allergens. Tea Tree oil is also antifungal and antibacterial. This product ensures that the wool and leather are cleaned and disinfected. Woolskin also conditions the leather to retain its soft and supple surface.

Woolskin will increase the longevity of all washable sheepskin products. Woolskin contains Tea Tree Oil and Myrtle Tree Oil. well known natural products with fungicide, antibacterial and miticide properties.

BEWARE! Detergents, which contain enzymes, phosphates, peroxide, alkali or bleach can cause irreversible damage to the leather. Woolskin contains none of these chemicals. Do not use Woolite or normal household detergents for washing sheepskin- they may irreversibly damage the leather.

Benefits:

Woolskin Sheepskin Shampoo & Woolwash-based on tanning technology, safely washes medical sheepskin without damage to the leather. Woolskin contains a blend of tea tree and lemon myrtle oils which have also been proven effective against dust mite and pet allergens. Woolskin is ideal for wool and natural fibres such as alpaca, mohair and wool/possum blends and has been found to reduce the 'prickle' in coarser wools and wet wool smell. Woolskin can be used as a general laundry detergent for people with sensitive skin. Woolskin meets the high standard of Merinomark.

Buying a 500mL of Woolskin is not the most economical. Because of high shipping charges, we recommend that you purchase the 1.0L Woolskin bottle (W103E) or more. With the 1.0L bottle, you get 2 x times the quantity of Woolskin for the same shipping charge. Woolskin is concentrated and you use only 20-50mL for each wash, making it a very economical wool wash and conditioner. Use for all natural fibers..you will be pleased with the result.

Woolskin is available in 4 formats:

 Care:

Use the recommended quantity and double rinse in cool water.

    works like a charm

I have used this product to clean sheepskin pads - also purchased from this company - that we used for an incontinent elderly woman who spent most of her time in bed. The sheepskin pads held up wonderfully with this treatment, and the patient was very happy to be sleeping on such lovely pads. Highly recommended.

    Easy and Effective

I washed a large sheepskin that had been stored in the basement for about 8 years. After adding the required amount of detergent into the washing machine, I put the sheepskin outside to dry. It is like new. I'm really impressed.

So far I washed my sheepskin slippers / Uggs. They washed well by hand and I'm hoping look like new when dry. They also smell great!
