Wool Foot Warmers: Which Pair?

Woolly foot warmers started in the shearing sheds of the Australian Snowy Mountains, where shearers strapped wool to their feet to keep them warm and dry. Ours are made the same way, from Merino wool: much thicker than socks, without the hard sole of a slipper.

Getting the size right

Measure the foot from heel to longest toe and choose a foot warmer whose outside sole is about 1" longer. Each product page lists the sole lengths.

Care

Machine wash in Woolskin, which cleans, conditions and disinfects the wool. Air dry, or for the wrap booties, tumble dry on low and take them out before they're fully dry.

Are wool foot warmers good for poor circulation?
They're often chosen for cold feet and poor circulation because the wool keeps feet warm and dry without squeezing. If you have diabetes or reduced feeling in your feet, check with your doctor or podiatrist first. Read our products for cold feet.

Can I walk in them?
The non-slip sole (M160NS) is made for getting up and moving around. The others are for bed, the sofa and indoors. For walking with pressure sores or swollen feet, see medical sheepskin boots and booties.
